Alas; long gone are the days when a simple ceramic mug with your logo and phone number was an ingenious and canny idea for promoting you company. In the modern world, it says nothing good about your company if you really consider such an item to be a valuable piece of promotion, even as a freebie. Such mugs are put to the back of the cupboard and dragged out only when the rest of the mugs are either already in use, dirtied or destroyed, at which point somebody will pipe up, “Aw, how come I get the rubbish mug?”

It happens. I have seen it happening. Nobody wants their company associated with rubbish-mug; don’t let it be you!
